Network protocols define a common set of rules.

Network Communications	enable two or more devices to communicate over one or more networks تمكين جهازين أو أكثر من الاتصال عبر شبكة واحدة أو أكثر
Network Security	secure data to provide authentication, data integrity, and data encryption بيانات آمنة لتوفير المصادقة وسلامة البيانات وتشفير البيانات
Routing	enable routers to exchange route information, compare path information, and select best path تمكين أجهزة الراوتر لتبادل معلومات المسار ومقارنة معلومات المسار وتحديد أفضل مسار
Service Discovery	used for the automatic detection of devices or services تستخدم للكشف التلقائي للأجهزة أو الخدمات
